Wakefield Studio Closure
Like many small businesses all over the country, the profound times we’re living in have had an equally profound impact on our business. In the face of this extraordinary new normal, we’ve taken a close and loving look at Hot Yoga Wellington, and made some difficult decisions to ensure our incredible community continues to thrive.
With that in mind, and with heaviness in our hearts, we’re sharing the news that our beloved Wakefield studio’s doors will be closing for good.
The Wakefield studio has been a place of sanctuary, spirituality, and healing for more than a decade – and we know this news will come as a blow to many. But if these strange times have shown us anything, it’s that spiritual sanctuary can be found anywhere.
To our amazing Wakefield community, thank you so much for being part of our journey over the years.
We’ll be continuing our online classes, and our Featherston and Lower Hutt studios will remain open, too.
We look forward to sharing our love of yoga with you there, for many years to come.
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you.
Love Hot Yoga Wellington & Lower Hutt
A word from Maria
There have been so many factors that have led to this decision, and there are so many things I could say. But what I want to say is thank you. Thank you to past and present owners, teachers and members. Thank you to the Wakefield studio for all her wonderful blessings and the growth she has given us all. I know for many of you, it will feel like the loss of someone or something special, but in my heart I know it's the right decision. Yes, there is grief and sadness, but also gratitude and grace in knowing that it is time to let go.
For me this time has been a practice of yoga off the mat, and never has yoga let me down; only I can do that. So I trust in the process of knowing that change is constant, and everything is an opportunity for me to question my thinking. To take a breath and stay present. I look forward to seeing you on the mat again soon.
